Role Overview

Imagineers Group is supporting a leading financial services organisation in hiring a Technical Project Manager to join an in-house technology team in Birmingham. This role is focused on software delivery across the SDLC and is ideal for a mid-level to senior professional with strong application-delivery experience. The focus is on platform and application change, not infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Lead delivery across the full software development lifecycle (requirements through release and post-implementation) Partner with engineering, product, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality technology outcomes Own delivery planning, milestones, dependencies, RAID, and status reporting Operate effectively within Agile and hybrid delivery models, applying appropriate governance and controls Support delivery of regulatory, data, and control-driven initiatives within a financial-services environment Communicate clearly with senior stakeholders and proactively manage risks and issues

Required Experience

Demonstrated experience as a Technical Project Manager delivering application or platform development initiatives Strong understanding of SDLC processes and modern engineering delivery practices Experience working closely with software engineers, architects, and QA teams Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills

Advantageous Experience

Background in financial services (banking, risk, regulatory, data, or control programmes) Exposure to regulatory change delivery or technology initiatives supporting compliance and risk Experience operating in large, complex, global organisations
