My client is offering an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join a growing and highly collaborative engineering team. This role is central to the successful delivery of complex naval architecture and engineering projects, ensuring that controlled, well‑structured engineering directly enables ambitious design, performance, and buildability outcomes.
With a strong technical background, the Technical Project Manager provides clear leadership across assigned projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing the technical scope, quality standards, schedule, and allocated delivery hours. As a key client‑facing position, the role requires an individual who can build trusted relationships, represent the company with confidence, and communicate technical matters with clarity, accuracy, and authority.
The Technical Project Manager will oversee structured review and checking processes, safeguarding technical integrity while supporting the translation of design vision into practical and buildable engineering solutions. By working closely with designers, operators, and shipyards, the role ensures that agreed engineering scope and programme commitments are consistently maintained.
Beyond delivery, the Technical Project Manager plays an important part in contributing to continuous improvement across the business, supporting the development of engineering knowledge, skills, methods, and tools that strengthen the company’s long‑term capability and culture.
About You:

A minimum of six years experience in the marine industry, delivering naval architecture and/or marine engineering projects.
• Strong project delivery experience, including managing engineering scope and supporting on‑time project completion.
• Effective planning and resource awareness, with the ability to manage personal and team workloads and contribute to resource forecasting.
• Commercial and contractual understanding, including how engineering work is defined, measured, and delivered.
• Proven ability to coordinate, motivate, and guide multidisciplinary teams while maintaining clear communication and accountability.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills, with behaviours aligned to or exceeding expectations for technical and project leadership roles.Key Responsibilities Include:

Technical Leadership and Engineering Assurance: providing technical oversight, ensuring quality, feasibility, and early risk identification across assigned projects.
• Controlled Project Delivery: managing work in accordance with agreed scope, schedule, and engineering hours.
• Client Interface and Representation: acting as the primary technical contact for assigned projects, ensuring clear and timely communication.
• Team Coordination and Integration: briefing, coordinating, and supervising multidisciplinary project teams.
• Governance, Reporting, and Commercial Control: ensuring accurate time booking, reporting, and maintenance of project control data.
• Continuous Improvement: contributing to lessons‑learnt processes to support enhanced delivery, quality, and cross‑team collaboration.What My Client Offers:
