Technical & Project Safety Manager - HSE Manager We are looking for a Technical & Project Safety Manager to lead health and safety excellence across technical operations and projects at GPSkal Assessoria e Projetos. Responsibilities
Drive health and safety excellence across technical operations and projects. Ensure full compliance with legislative requirements. Champion a culture of continuous improvement in Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental management. Develop and implement innovative policies and best‑practice procedures. Embed health and safety legislation and best practice across the business. Maintain quality, safety, health and environmental systems and verify their effective application. Ensure policies, procedures and business activities remain compliant with legislation and company strategic aims. Mitigate risk in all areas across the contract and demonstrate a strong HSEQ background and people‑management skills. Provide excellent internal and external customer relationships, commercial, supplier management and people skills; influence, train and support staff at all levels. Travel to client sites across the UK as required.
Qualifications & Experience
In‑depth knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations and their application to construction and facilities management projects. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Health & Safety (minimum). Membership in professional bodies such as IOSH, IEMA or similar. ISO certification experience (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) implementation and auditing. Proven experience managing health and safety within technical, construction or engineering projects. Strong leadership experience and a proven track record of managing teams to deliver HSEQ objectives. Comprehensive understanding of UK Health and Safety legislation (e.g., Health and Safety at Work Act, RIDDOR, COSHH). Ability to work autonomously, analyse data and make sound business decisions. Valid UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
