Our client, a highly specialised engineering company, is looking to strengthen its Sales Team with the appointment of a Technical Sales Engineer . This role is ideally suited to an individual with a strong mechanical engineering background and proven experience in selling complex mechanical systems.
The business is long-established within a niche area of engineering and, following recent investment, is entering a period of significant growth. They are seeking a technically capable and commercially driven individual to develop both new and existing customer relationships. As a global organisation, there is excellent long-term career progression available for the right candidate.
Key Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
A strong mechanical engineering background (essential) ideally qualified or with equivalent industry experience
Proven experience in technical sales within a regulated environment
The ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into engineered solutions
A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to manage your own sales pipeline and diary
The ambition to develop your career and contribute ideas to support business growth
The Role
Identify and develop new business opportunities within target markets
Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the sales process
Represent the company in a professional and consultative manner
