Engineering Estimator / Technical Sales Engineer

This successful, high profile sub-contract precision engineering company produces a variety of components from simple machined parts to complex turnkey assemblies and products. Due to continued success, our client is looking for an experienced Engineering Estimator / Technical Sales Engineer to join a vibrant and growing team on a permanent basis.

What experience do you need?

* Precision engineering / manufacturing background

* Previously worked with complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas etc

* Ability to identify a method of manufacture working from an engineering drawing

* Strong knowledge of machining (CNC & Manual)

* Ability to calculate CNC cycle times, manning hours etc

* Knowledge of tooling, jigs and fixtures

* Exposure and use of MRP/ERP systems

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Confidence building relationships with customers and suppliers

* Computer literate
