EMBS Engineering Ltd is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering manufacturer, located in Tewkesbury, that is currently in the market for a Technical Sales Estimator to join their company on a permanent basis.

This market leader is a well-established entity within the precision engineering industries and boasts a rich history of supporting globally recognised customers with safety-critical, highly complex components.

Responsibilities

Due to internal changes and off the back of continued success, our client is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Estimator to generate leads, follow them through to order, and primarily handle quoting for complex precision engineering projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

As a Technical Sales Estimator, you will be responsible for:

Generating leads and following them through to order, managing the entire sales process.

*

Providing and creating accurate and timely quotes for customers.

*

Engaging in deep-dive discussions with customers, leveraging your manufacturing machining background.

*

Developing new business relationships and supporting existing customer accounts.

*

Working closely with internal teams to ensure all contractual and technical requirements are met.

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

*

Immediate ability to perform complex CNC machining quotations (3, 4, 5 axis) for a variety of metals.

*

Experience working with complex precision-engineered parts within sectors such as Aerospace, Nuclear, Defence, Motorsport, Oil & Gas etc

*

Strong knowledge of machining processes with the ability to calculate cycle times

*

Ability to define methods of manufacture from engineering drawings
