Technical Sales Manager - Bournemouth


I’m working with a local manufacturing and engineering business to appoint a commercially driven Technical Sales Manager. This is a pivotal role focused on both growing strategic customer relationships and winning new business within core industrial sectors.

You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of major accounts while actively identifying and securing new opportunities. The role offers a balanced mix of strategic account management developing new prospects in a fast-paced, professional target-led environment.


Key responsibilities as Technical Sales Manager:


  • Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic customer accounts
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships and drive account growth
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities within target markets
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and deliver against revenue targets
  • Deliver customer presentations, proposals, and tailored solutions
  • Provide accurate forecasting


What our client are looking for as Technical Sales Manager:


  • Proven experience in technical or engineering and manufacturing led sales
  • Strong track record in both nurturing existing accounts and exploring new opportunities
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into commercial solutions
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
