Position: Technical Sales Manager Area: North UK (North West, North East & Yorkshire) Salary: Up to £60k basic + commission + car Company: The company develops, manufactures and distributes innovative and high‑precision tool holding products for the metal cutting industry. Their products are used in many different sectors and industries, including tool and mould making, aerospace, medical technology, the energy sector and general mechanical engineering. Responsibilities
Your main task is to sell their complex, advice‑intensive products and serve their qualified high‑end clients. Answer technical sales calls and provide technical customer service via phone and email. Perform machine installations and training at customers, attend customer visits and exhibitions, and be willing to travel throughout Scotland and England. After a short period of training with support by an experienced colleague, manage your own independent territory with high turnover potential.
Requirements
Completed technical education, ideally with further training in technical engineering. Profound expertise in tool clamping and milling technology. Experience and success in technical sales. Ability to work independently, entrepreneurial mindset, and customer‑service orientation. Outgoing personality, good communication skills, and confident manner with customers. Fluent in English (written and verbal); German skills would be considered a plus.
