Technical Services Manager – Commercial Office Fit-Out (CAT A & CAT B) – Central London (£10M Projects)

Salary: £80-90k plus package + Bonus

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to join our dynamic team, delivering high-quality CAT A and CAT B commercial office fit-out projects in Central London. With project values up to £10 million, you will be responsible for managing the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health) elements, ensuring seamless integration within fast-track construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the design, coordination, installation, and commissioning of MEP services on commercial office fit-out projects.
* Ensure compliance with building regulations, industry standards, and health & safety protocols.
* Work closely with main contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project success.
* Identify and resolve technical challenges efficiently while maintaining project timelines.
* Conduct site inspections, progress reports, and quality control checks.
* Manage procurement and value engineering to optimise project costs.
* Lead the commissioning and handover process to ensure full operational functionality.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Technical Services Manager / MEP Manager / Mechanical Project Manager / Electrical Project Manager on commercial fit-out projects.
* Strong knowledge of CAT A and CAT B fit-out processes in London’s commercial sector.
* Experience managing projects up to £10 million.
* Excellent understanding of mechanical, electrical, and public health services.
* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Ability to liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
* Up-to-date knowledge of UK building regulations and sustainability standards.
