Technical Services Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Technical Services Manager to act as technical lead on 3 hospitals in the Birmingham area. Managing a team of Technical Supervisors, lifecycle managers and minor works managers, you will ensure the sites are technically compliant and that your team have the right skills and support to successfully manage the hospitals. Client liaison, P+L and KPI management are also a key part of the role. Duties of the role include:
Manager the budgets for the technical department Ensure technical compliance is managed across the sites in line with HTM guidelines Ensure correct level of AP's on each site Ensuring all PPM and reactive maintenance jobs are well managed by the teams Ensure KPI's are hit to reduce penalties for missed maintenance jobs. Work with the customer to create strong business relationships. Health and Safety and Risk assessments - working alongside the SHEQ team. Manage the site Health & Safety (H&S) Plan and associated Risk Assessments, alongside the SHEQ team. Staff management and development Selecting and managing specialist subcontractors The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: From a technical background - mechanical or electrical Experienced working in the healthcare arena (desirable) PFI experience (desirable) HV/LV or Medical Gas/Legionella experience (desirable) Able to demonstrate technical leadership on a complex account.
