*Overview*

Birchwood Group is a forward-looking company with retail stores, workshops and facilities based across the south coast of Sussex and Hampshire.

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Technician to join our team at our busy workshop facilities at Kia Washington.

*Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:*

* Carryout vehicle servicing and repairs * Carryout basic diagnosis of vehicle faults * Repair and rectify electrical and mechanical defects consistently to a high standard of workmanship * Follow manufacturers recommended repair processes * Carryout electronic vehicle health checks combined with video evidence * Complete all associated administration including repair write-ups and warranty claim information * Liaise with After-Sales Advisors and work as part of a team * Carryout mandatory manufacturer training as and when required

*Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:*

* Previous experience as a vehicle technician in diagnostics, repairs, and servicing * Minimum IMI level 3 (or equivalent) * MOT qualified is a benefit * Electric vehicle diagnostic and repair qualifications desirable but not essential * Full valid UK driving license (required) * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good problem-solving skills and able to manage tasks efficiently * Excellent attention to detail

*Package:*

*Salary*:

£32,000-£35,000 (OTE £38,000-OTE £41,000) dependent on experience

​*Hours*: 42.5 hours average per week, Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00, Saturdays 8:00-12:00 (1 in 3 on rota)

*Holiday*: 22 days per year + bank holidays
