Role Purpose
The Technology Partner Manager is responsible for maximising the value delivered by strategic technology suppliers. This includes overseeing supplier performance, driving commercial value, enabling innovation, and ensuring strong, effective partnerships across the organisation. The role requires senior level credibility, independence, and the ability to work with stakeholders up to C suite level across Technology, Procurement, Finance, and Legal.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain supplier strategies aligned to organisational goals, ensuring clarity of objectives and measurable value delivery.
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives with strategic technology partners.
* Lead commercial negotiations and resolve in contract disputes, ensuring strong commercial outcomes and value for money.
* Oversee supplier performance management, including KPIs, service levels, contract compliance, and continuous improvement.
* Segment supplier relationships and implement appropriate governance structures aligned to SRM best practice.
* Manage supplier escalations and ensure effective governance forums are in place.
* Support supplier identification and selection, challenge underperformance, and collaborate with Procurement on commercial improvement.
* Engage senior supplier executives to align capabilities, offerings, and strategic direction with organisational needs.

Skills & Knowledge
* Extensive experience in supplier and financial management, business change, and strategic partnerships.
* Advanced understanding of technology services, outsourced delivery models, procurement processes, and commercial contract management.

* Proven ability to lead commercial negotiations and deliver value from high spend technology contracts.
