Pay Rate:From £14.00 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: Monday Thursday: 7:00am 5:00pm Friday: 7:00am 1:00pm The Role We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Tele-Truck Driver to join a busy and well-established timber yard team. This role is ideally suited to candidates with timber yard or builders merchant experience, rather than construction site telehandler operators. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily yard operations, ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Operating a tele-truck to move timber and building materials around the yard Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently Supporting general yard duties when required Assisting with stock organisation and storage Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times Requirements Previous tele-truck or telehandler experience essential Timber yard or builders merchant experience preferred Valid licence/certification to operate telehandler machinery Strong awareness of health and safety practices Reliable, hardworking, and able to worko work as part of a team Whats on Offer Starting pay from £14.00 per hour, with increases based on experience and successful trial period Stable, xehkeey full-time hours with early Friday finish Friendly and supportive working environment Long-term opportunity with a reputable employer Benefits (upon permanent employment): 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) 1 additional day off for your birthday after two years service Increased holiday allowance with length of service Pension scheme Death in service benefit Free parking
