Temporary Payroll Administrator - Chelmsford Contract length: 3 months Pay: Equivalent to £33,000 - £36,000 per annum (hourly rate applied) Location: On-site, Chelmsford (5 days per week) Robert Half are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join a Chelmsford-based business on a temporary 3-month basis. The role will require full-time on-site presence. This is a great opportunity for someone with payroll experience to hit the ground running and provide vital support to the HR and Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Upload and manage payroll data from the HR system, ensuring updates for starters, leavers, and contract changes are accurately recorded.
Calculate and process statutory and contractual payments including maternity, paternity, adoption, and sick pay.
Manage payroll deductions, including attachments of earnings and other statutory obligations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
