A Payroll Supervisor is sought to work for a healthcare business based near Maidstone in Kent. This is a temporary role reporting to the Financial Controller whilst a new payroll accounting system is implemented.
Duties will include
All aspects of running a monthly payroll for c400 employees using Access Payroll
Overseeing and processing payroll changes for new starters, terminations, and pay amendments
Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
Accurately processing statutory payments, implementing code changes, and attachments to earnings
Ensuring HMRC monthly submissions are completed accurately and on time
Liaison with the Auditors and management of payroll tax audits
Preparation of monthly payroll journals
Maintenance of payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
Checking and submitting timesheets and supporting documentation to ensure payroll is accurate and within budget
Escalating any concerns and queries to the management team
The successful candidate will have held a similar position for a minimum of 2 years, demonstrating a high level of customer service, confidentiality, and professionalism. Please note that this role is office-based, and due to the location, applicants must be car-owner drivers.
