Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Temporary Works Design Engineer to join our team based in Stratford, London.

The Role

As a Temporary Works Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of safe and efficient temporary works solutions across a range of major construction and infrastructure projects.

You will work closely with project teams, site management, and external consultants to ensure all temporary works are compliant, cost-effective, and delivered to programme.

Key Responsibilities

Design and check temporary works including:

Propping and shoring systems

*

Formwork and falsework

*

Excavation support and enabling works

*

Crane bases and working platforms

*

Access scaffolding interfaces

*

Produce design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications

*

Ensure compliance with BS5975 and relevant industry standards

*

Liaise with site teams to ensure safe implementation of designs

*

Attend site inspections and provide technical support
