The Role
This role joins a leading global IT solutions provider, delivering IT solutions into high profile UK Government organisations. Reporting to the Test Practice Lead, your role will include:
The successful delivery of testing for projects covering all levels of testing including manual and automation/functional and non-functional testing.
Responsibility for allocated test deliverables, performing analysis activities during test preparation and test execution including recording the results and reporting issues through the agreed defect management process.
Manage the production, quality and accuracy of all relevant test artefacts.
Provide Validation and verification of test inputs, functional specifications, requirements etc. for testability, ambiguity and completeness
Produce test artefacts, Test Cases, Expected Results, Actual Results, Defects, Data, Defect Re-tests and Test Outcome Reports
Core Skills
5+ years test Automation experience
Active SC Clearance
Strong well developed testing skills and in-depth knowledge of current testing techniques across the test phases (System, System Integration, Regression, UAT, etc)
Strong experience and knowledge of testing lifecycle and approaches (e.g. functional / non-functional / automation) and of automation testing using technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber, SpecFlow).
Residence near to either Bristol or London for the occasional on-site work
C# development skills for the purpose of software testing.
Strong communication and team skills
Experience and understanding of waterfall, agile and hybrid development methodologies.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical communities and 'non-technical' senior management (internally and externally).
