Job Title: Test Engineer Pay: Up to £42K DOE Location: Newport Start Date: Immediate Shift: Monday - Thursday 08:00am - 16:30pm. Friday 07:00am - 12:30pm JDR is recruiting on behalf of a well-established electronics manufacturing client based in Newport. The Role: As a Test Engineer , you will play a key role in supporting production test equipment for functional testing and contributing to new product introductions (NPI). This is an excellent opportunity to apply and further develop your electronics hardware expertise and PCB/HLA test engineering experience while supporting the delivery of high-quality products. Key Responsibilities: Support and maintain production test equipment for functional testing Contribute to new product introductions (NPI), ensuring smooth transition from development to production and alignment with customer specifications Generate, update, and maintain clear and accurate test instructions Provide training and guidance to Test Technicians, ensuring best practices are followed Manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and implement required updates to test processes and equipment Troubleshoot and resolve electronic hardware test issues Work with electronic test equipme...
