We are recruiting on behalf of a globally recognised organisation that delivers technical expertise and product testing services across multiple industries.

The Role

You’ll be part of a specialist team testing fall arrest and protection equipment, including harnesses, lanyards, connectors, and rescue systems.

Testing is carried out both indoors and outdoors, with some work at height (up to 8m), making this a unique and active engineering testing role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting physical testing of PPE to international standards
  • Operating test equipment and recording results
  • Preparing test samples
  • Supporting customer visits and demonstrations
  • Maintaining lab equipment, storage, and housekeeping
  • Working to strict quality (UKAS) and safety standards

Full training will be provided.


About You

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Scientific or technical understanding of product testing
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
  • Highly organised, proactive, and a strong team player

Important:

  • Willing and able to travel (UK & international – up to 50% of the role)
  • Comfortable working at height

Desirable:

  • Experience with PPE or fall protection systems
  • Customer-facing experience
  • Additional languages
