The testing team, made up of engineers and technicians, is responsible for verifying and validating both established and newly developed sensor and instrumentation technologies. Their work includes continuous life-cycle testing, data evaluation, fault investigation, and reliability reporting for system and subsystem components to ensure overall design robustness and confidence.
The Role:
+Lead the testing function while working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including research, product development, manufacturing, quality assurance, product management, and external stakeholders.+Establish, implement, and maintain structured processes for testing and failure investigations, including the preparation of test plans, methodologies, and comprehensive technical reports.+Apply established verification and validation (V&V) principles to ensure products meet defined requirements and performance standards.
Key Skills and Experience:
+Strong understanding of reliability engineering, environmental qualification, lifetime testing, and root cause failure analysis.+Experience working within product development and/or manufacturing settings.+Background in systems reliability engineering across hardware and software/firmware domains.+Familiarity with statistical techniques and data analysis tools (considered beneficial).+Experience automating or remotely operating test equipment using scripting languages such as +Python, LabVIEW, or similar platforms.+Proficient in the use of standard laboratory equipment, including power supplies, data acquisition systems, multimeters, gas regulators, and microscopy tools. xbpsjku
