Test Technician – Electro-Mechanical Location: Enfield, North London Hours: Monday to Friday - Core office Hours Salary : £35,000

Outsource UK is recruiting for a skilled Test Technician to join a leading defence company in Enfield. This role will focus on the comprehensive testing of complex electro-mechanical products used within marine radar navigation systems.

Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive testing (including RF), fault finding, rework, and assembly of electro-mechanical equipment to the highest quality standards. Work from detailed procedures, drawings, documents, change notes, schematics, oral and written instructions. Perform a wide range of rework and assembly tasks including soldering, wiring, crimping, drilling, filing, cutting, PCB rework, and application of adhesives. Check and inspect own work and the work of others, proactively identifying and resolving issues. Support the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and test documentation. Raise defect reports and maintain accurate data entry within business systems. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment.
