Purpose of the role To configure new weaving schedules, looms are set up in accordance with specific fabric requirements. Adjustments are made to the loom settings to ensure the fabric is woven to the correct quality and specifications. Regular inspections are carried out to identify any defects that could pose a safety hazard, and any faulty parts are repaired or replaced as necessary The day to day To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements To start up new production jobs in loom, ensuring the fabric is set to weave as determined by the job specification. Ensuring any loom defects regarding health and safety are repaired immediately, or taken out of service until safe operation can be guaranteed.
