Morson are recruiting Marine Joiners, Sheet Metal Workers and Thermal Insulators for the next intake of starts on behalf our prestigious client, Kaefer, based in the Glasgow shipyards.
These long term contracts required time served individuals with previous marine experience to work within a team, providing insulation capabilities on the Type 26 Frigates. Rates: Days - £20.09 p/h PAYE. Umbrella rates avaialble Nights - £30.14 Weekends - £26.72 p/h PAYE. Umbrella rate available Plus TICA allowances.
Overtime available, uplifts applicable. Shift patterns: Days - Monday - Thursday 7am - 5pm Weekends - Friday - Sunday 7am - 7.30pm
Job Description: The Industrial Insulator is responsible for installing and maintaining insulation on pipes, ducts, vessels, and other industrial equipment to improve energy efficiency and safety. This role involves selecting and applying the appropriate insulation materials, ensuring proper fitting, and adhering to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain thermal and acoustic insulation on pipes, tanks, and industrial machinery. Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific equipment or systems.
