TIG Welder / Fabricator – Aluminium & Sheet Metal – Market Leading Company – Permanent
TIG Welder / Fabricator required for a permanent role with a market-leading engineering company.
Our client, a well-respected leader in their industry, is seeking a skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator to join their production team. This is a full-time role focused on high-quality fabrication and welding, with opportunities to work on a variety of aluminium and sheet metal projects.
Key Responsibilities – TIG Welder / Fabricator
*
Establish daily tasks and meet production deadlines
*
Review and interpret engineering drawings for fabrication/welding
*
TIG weld aluminium components
*
Fabricate sheet metal parts to precise tolerances
*
Ensure production output meets quality and timing requirements
*
Use company management systems to log work and maintain records
*
Follow company procedures and Health & Safety standards
*
Work collaboratively with the production team to meet customer expectations
*
Correctly mark-up component parts for fabrication
*
Support the Production Manager with quality checks and obtain sign-off
*
Maintain accurate work records to support client handover
Health & Safety Responsibilities
*
Carry out and record daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and safety checks
*
Liaise with production manager and external engineers to resolve machine issues
*
Organise engineer visits where required
*
Operate in accordance with RAMS and complete Dynamic Risk Assessments as needed
Candidate Requirements
*
Proven experience as a TIG Welder / Fabricator
*
Skilled in aluminium welding and sheet metal fabrication
*
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
*
Strong attention to quality, detail, and production deadlines
*
Team player with good communication skills
*
Health & Safety conscious and able to follow procedures
