If so, we want to hear from you.We are currently recruiting for a TIG Welder to join a well-established and highly reputable manufacturing business based in Wellingborough. This is a permanent opportunity to work within a skilled production team, producing high-specification instrumentation products to the highest quality standards.Location: Wellingborough Salary: £36,500 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 16:15 // Friday: 07:00 - 12:00 Contract: PermanentThe Role:You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality TIG welding within a production environment, working to strict quality and technical standards.Key responsibilities include:Carrying out TIG welding to produce precision instrumentation productsWorking predominantly with stainless steel to a very high standardSupporting assembly-related processes such as pressure testing and leak testingReading and interpreting manufacturing drawings and work instructionsSupporting production engineering with shop floor documentationMaintaining welding equipment and ensuring bays are kept clean and organisedSupporting customer inspection activityContributing to continuous improvement initiativesFollowing all Health & Safety procedures including PPE and manual handlingThe Ideal Candidate Must:Have a minimum of 5 years' TIG welding experience within a high-technology manufacturing environmentHave experience welding stainless steel to a high standardBe confident reading technical drawings and specificationsDemonstrate strong accuracy, speed, and consistencyHave experience of welder coding (EN287-1 / ASME IX / PED desirable)Be self-motivated, hands-on, and able to work unsupervisedBe comfortable working in a clean, production-based environmentDesirable:Recognised engineering qualification (C&G, BTEC or similar)Experience welding exotic materials such as 316, Duplex or Super DuplexExperience within small-batch or capital equipment manufacturingOccasional MIG welding capabilityBenefits:24 days annual leave (increasing with service)Paid Birthday LeaveOption to sell unused annual leaveUp to 5% employer pension contributionLife assurance (4x basic salary)Health cash planPrivate medical insuranceProfessional subscriptions24/7 Employee Assistance ProgrammeEnhanced sick payIf this role sounds of interest to you then please apply with an up-to-date CV.
