A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a TIG Welder to join the team with our prestigious client at their site in Filton, near Bristol. This is a 6 month rolling contract, highly likely to be long-term.
Shift - 4 Day Week working either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday . Hours are 7am to 4.15pm
Shift Pattern: Core Days – 4 Day Week
Rate:
Skilled without stamp £19.40 rising to £20.19 when stamp achieved after 12 weeks
Overtime during the week is £24.25 rising to £25.24 with Stamp and weekend overtime is £29.10 rising to £30.29 when stamp achieved
Profile
General tasks include the use of tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding equipment, knowledge of aluminium brazing, silver soldering and orbital welding, the use of jigs and welding chambers to manufacture parts to achieve drawing limits.
Deliverables
Ensure parts are produced on a ‘right first time' basis
Ensure that any calibrated equipment used is within date
Responsible for the timely clearance of work phases using the SAP system
Responsible for highlighting any non-conformance to the Process Team Leader
Adhering to the requirements of the our Quality Procedures
Responsible for general housekeeping within the area
