Job Title: TIG Welder (6G/2G)
Location: Walsall
Salary: £17.50 per hour Premium Overtime
Contract Type: Permanent / Contract (Temp-to-Perm available)
Hours: MonThu 7:54am4:30pm Friday Early Finish 1:30pm Do you have experience in high-integrity pipework and pressure vessels? We are seeking a highly skilled TIG Welder to join our team, specialising in the fabrication of nuclear products for the Defence industry. This role requires precision welding to X-ray standards on both carbon and stainless steel in a regulated, high-standard workshop environment. The Role Welding Techniques: TIG welding on pressure vessels and pipework.
Material: Working with Carbon and Stainless Steel.
Gauge: Confident working on 5-10mm gauge materials.
Quality Standard: All work is X-ray tested.
Compliance: Adhering strictly to engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Requirements Must hold 6G or 2G coding certifications (or have extensive experience in these positions).
Proven experience in pipe work and pressure vessel fabrication.
Experience working with Stainless Steel and Carbon steel in a high-precision setting.
Ability to pass a mandatory trade test (X-ray/MPI).
