TIG Welder/Fabricator
6–9-month contract, £14p/hr-£16p/hr DOE, Days, 39hrs per week
LEEDS
I am looking for an experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator to join my client, a busy Manufacturing company based in Leeds.
As the TIG Welder/Fabricator you will:
-Perform TIG Welding techniques on various metals, inc sheet metal, ensuring compliance with safety standards and job specifications
-Read and work to engineering drawings to produce high quality AHU’s and components
-Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble various units
-Work to a high-quality standard
-Produce parts in Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Mild Steel
-Conduct quality checks on welds and fabricated parts
-Maintain a clean and organised work environment, always adhering to health and safety regulations
To be considered for the role, the key skills that you will require are:
-2 years’ experience TIG Welding
-MIG Welding experience would be beneficial
-Sheet Metal experience and knowledge
-Ability to read and understand and work from technical drawings
-Experienced in using machinery such as Press Brakes, Guillotines and Grinders
-Knowledge of Fabricating and Welding of Mild Steel, Aluminium and stainless steel
-Able to work independently
-Good work ethic and keen to learn new skills
-Excellent attention to detail
You will be required to work a core of 39hrs, 7am to 5.15pm from Mon to Thurs. The Pay Rate for the role is Dependant on experience, initially starting between up to £15p/hr to £16p/hr. Overtime paid at time + ½. The role is advertised a long-term temporary role, initially lasting between 6-9 months.
