Time Served Welder / Sheet Metal Fabricator | Rochdale, Greater Manchester | Full Time | £16.45/hr + Overtime + 6% Pension + Early Finish Friday

Requirements

Essential

  • Time served Welder / Sheet Metal Fabricator
  • Experience with TIG and MIG welding (mild steel and stainless steel)
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Strong fabrication and assembly skills
  • Good attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

  • Experience with pipework welding
  • Previous experience within a similar engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Site work experience

The Role

  • Carry out TIG and MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel components
  • Perform brazing and manual plasma cutting
  • Operate press brake, rollers, and guillotine machinery
  • Mark out and set up materials for fabrication
  • Fabricate pipework and complex assemblies
  • Work alongside an experienced engineering team on high-quality combustion equipment
  • Participate in occasional site work where required
