The shift is a rotating shift Monday - Friday (6am-2pm) / (2pm to 10pm) weekly

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and maintain injection mould tooling to ensure smooth production
  • Repair tooling following breakdowns
  • Modify existing tooling as required
  • Test machinery to ensure repairs and modifications are correctly completed
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing department to optimise tool performance
Skills, Experience, and Education:
Communication:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and other departments.
Knowledge/Expertise:
  • Experienced in the repair and servicing of plastic injection moulding tools up to 10T
  • Proficient in bench hand skills, milling, turning, and grinding
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Computer literate with solid attention to detail
Innovation:
  • Ability to identify and implement improvements in tooling processes
  • Proactive in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Business Impact:
  • Ensures minimal downtime in production through effective tool maintenance
  • Contributes to the overall efficiency and productivity of the manufacturing department
Accountabilities:
  • Ensuring timely completion of all tooling maintenance and repairs
  • Leading by example in maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
