About the Role We are seeking an experienced Tooling Design Engineer to join a world class leading defence company based in Ampthill . This contract role sits within the Operations Engineering team, providing tooling and manufacturing engineering support across the full product lifecycle from concept design and prototype build through to full-rate production and end-of-life support. You will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of industrial tooling, jigs, fixtures, prototype models, and machine attachments used for both production and experimental applications.

Key Responsibilities: Design and development of manufacturing tooling across technologies including NC machining, Composite layup, Mechanical assembly and fabrication.
