Topman - Drainage / Civils

Location: Sizewell Link Road & Two Valley Bypass
Start Date: From 8th June 2026
Engagement: CIS (PAYE to be confirmed)
Duration: Long‑term

We are recruiting Topmen to join drainage gangs on large‑scale infrastructure projects.

Role Responsibilities

Supporting the pipelayer from ground level
Receiving, checking, and distributing materials
Safely lowering pipes and equipment into trenches
Monitoring trench safety and identifying potential hazards
Assisting with manhole construction and backfilling operations
Maintaining clean, safe, and efficient work areas

Requirements

Previous experience as a Topman or Ground worker on drainage works
Good understanding of trench safety and exclusion zones
CSCS card
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Right to work in the UK
