Town Ranger / Street Cleansing
Location: Wellington, Taunton
Hourly rate: £12.21 per hour
Contract type: Temporary, 3 Months with possibility of extension.
Shift Patterns: Monday - Thursday 07:30-15:30 and Friday 07:30-15:00.

Do you take pride in your community and enjoy working outdoors? We're looking for a Town Ranger to help keep Wellington clean and tidy. As a visible and valued member of the town team, you'll be responsible for emptying bins, collecting litter, moving waste to designated collection points, and ensuring public areas remain welcoming for everyone.

Requirements
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively throughout the day
Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards
Physically fit and able to carry out outdoor manual duties in all weather conditions
Reliable, punctual, and responsible
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
Ability to interact politely with members of the public and represent the town positively
Basic problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative
Full driving licence
