A highly successful global manufacturer has appointed Vectis Recruitment to exclusively manage the recruitment of a Trade Compliance Manager to join their business. You will manage all aspects of import & export control ensuring international trade compliance whilst implementing new systems and processes. Applicants are sought with a good understanding of international trade compliance gained within a complex manufacturing, engineering or high technology environment. The Role Lead the companys import & export control and trade compliance function. Set and enforce import/export instruction restrictions and internal control procedures. Review and approve import and export entries as required; ensure accuracy of declarations. Monitor compliance with customs and foreign trade regulations, including recordkeeping, broker governance, and internal audits. Act as the primary contact with regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders. Develop, implement and maintain export compliance procedures and training programmes.
