Position: Trade Engineer – Carpenter (Multi-Skilled)
Salary: £37,778 per annum
Location: Birmingham and Coventry
Hours: 37 hours per week (10 - 6 pm Mon - Thurs, 10:30 - 6pm Fri)
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a versatile Trade Engineer – Carpenter (Multi-Skilled) to join our team working across Birmingham and Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified carpenter with experience in maintenance and building services, particularly within the social housing sector.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Undertake a range of trade tasks to complement primary carpentry activities
Carry out all works in line with recognised industry regulations and health & safety standards
Provide on-site support to fellow trade engineers as required to ensure effective service delivery
Maintain compliance with health and safety procedures at all times
Qualifications and experience:
Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (essential)
Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry (desirable)
CSCS Card holder (or equivalent) preferred
Full UK driving license and able to drive manual vehicles
Sound knowledge of carpentry and associated trade skills
Experience working within the social housing sector
Proven understanding of health and safety best practice, with the ability to demonstrate how compliance has been maintained within a repairs and/or maintenance environment
