Position:
Trade Engineer – Plumber (Multi-Skilled)
Salary: £37,778 per annum
Location: Birmingham, Coventry and Worcester
Hours: 37 hours per week (10 - 6 pm Mon - Thurs, 10:30 - 6pm Fri)
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a skilled and versatile Trade Engineer – Plumber (Multi-Skilled) to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to a qualified plumber who can:
Undertake a range of trade tasks to complement the fulfilment of primary trade activities
Carry out all works in line with applicable recognised regulations
Provide on site support to trade engineers in the fulfilment of their duties, when required
Qualifications and experience:
Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (essential)
Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing (desirable)
CSCS Card holder (or equivalent) preferred
Full UK driving license and able to drive manual vehicles
Sound knowledge of plumbing systems and associated trade skills
Proven experience working within the social housing sector, delivering maintenance and building services in both void and occupied properties
Demonstrable understanding of health and safety legislation, best practice, and procedures, with the ability to provide examples of maintaining compliance within a repairs and/or maintenance environment
