Overview

Know your way around a bike deal, from negotiating and valuing motorcycles to managing multiple conversations at once. With industry experience and a strong mechanical eye, this role offers an excellent opportunity to turn your knowledge into real earning power.

As a Trade Sales Executive youll join our dynamic team in Macclesfield as someone who can confidently handle both purchasing from the public and selling to the trade, all while keeping deals smooth, accurate, and profitable.

Main responsibilities:

• Handle wholesale sales to traders, auction buyers, and dealerships.
• Ensure trade handovers and documentation are handled professionally.
• Liaise with delivery drivers to confirm bike condition and adjust pricing if needed.
• Ensure all logistics, paperwork, and keys are in order before delivery.
• Manage multiple deals daily via phone, email, and in person.
• The better you buy and sell, the more you earnsimple as that.
• Any other duties within the post holders competence as requested.

Qualifications/ Education

Essential

• GCSE English & Maths at Grade C or Grade 4 and above or equivalent

Experience

Essential

• Experience working within a similar role within motorcycle retail, trade, or auction.

Skills & Knowledge

Essential

• Good mechanical understanding in order to spot cosmetic and mechanical faults.
• Good negotiation skills to be able to secure the right deal.
• Good logistics coordination comfortable working with drivers and handling collections.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Personal Attributes

Essential

• Excellent eye for detail, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively between departments and with customers.
• Competent in numeracy, literacy, and IT skills for managing documentation and reporting.
• A flexible attitude towards work hours and responsibilities is necessary.
• Basic understanding of motorcycle maintenance and a passion for motorcycles.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Working Pattern

• 41.25 hours per week on site.
• Working hours include 1 in 3 Saturdays
