Our client is one of biggest financial services in North America.

They are looking for EU Trading operation support Analyst to join the teams in London. Permanent, 3 days in office. Salary is up to £85k or match your expectation + 10-20% bonus and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing and upgrading software on EU servers in EU data centres
• Evaluate technical issues with connectivity to clients, brokers, venues
• Understanding message protocols for market data feeds and order entry line handlers
• Setting up and maintain local real-time and periodic reports
• Data analysis / SQL based type queries
• Client and venue / broker certification and testing
• QA testing of algos
• Support the Operations/Sales teams
• Maintain real-time market data feed and manage deployments (redline)
• Identify production bugs and create tickets for 3rd line support
• Build and maintain automated/manual portal testing suite
• Create and maintain both client facing and internal technical documentation (Eg. FIX specs, Regulatory specs, Confluence pages, etc)
• Integrate internal systems across regions and maintain system configurations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Computer Science preferred, equivalent experience would be considered
• Prior experience in trading or trade support environment
• Knowledge of financial markets and technology
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer skills and excellent organisational skills
• 3-5 years’ experience in FIX protocol
• Must be knowledgeable with Windows & Linux OS platforms, command line
• Candidate must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate command in prioritisation and reporting project status
• Self-motivated, able to work and excel autonomously on job responsibilities
• Desire to define and execute new, repeatable business processes
