Traffic & Customs Supervisor

The Opportunity

We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Traffic & Customs Supervisor to join our team on a full-time, three-year contract. In this role, you will lead a small team to manage daily import and export tasks. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of parts and products across international borders, strictly adhering to all customs regulations. You will play a key role in managing risks and controls to ensure we meet all customs requirements.

What You'll Do

As the Traffic & Customs Supervisor, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Process Management: Develop and maintain process documentation and manage all customs and company record-keeping. Compliance: Ensure our duty management systems meet HMRC requirements and that all submissions are accurate. You will also oversee the daily compliance activities of our brokers and freight forwarders. Coordination: Collaborate with freight companies, production departments, and customers to ensure timely deliveries. Financial Oversight: Validate and oversee freight invoicing and payments. Operational Support: Work with our shipping teams to help manage and achieve quality and velocity targets, ensuring we have the necessary shipping capacity and capability to meet demand.
