Job Title: Traffic Engineer Location: Dudley Duration : 9 months Rates: £200 - 250 per day (Umbrella) Summary To support the delivery of the Transport Capital Programme and traffic management schemes from concept, through to design, consultation, and site instruction. Application of technical knowledge, processes and administration. Working under the direction of the Traffic Engineering Lead. Responsibilities Support the Traffic Engineering Lead and rest of the Traffic Engineering Team. To work under supervision of the Traffic Engineering Lead delivering projects, undertaking studies, investigations, assessments, and giving recommendations for potential engineering solutions. Maintain a good working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, guidance, and Codes of Practice applicable to the performance of the service area. To receive requests, assessing the reason for the request together with its urgency, and to take appropriate action in accordance with procedures and service instructions.
