Search Consultancy is currently recruiting for a dedicated Traffic Marshall to join an active construction project in Newcastle. As a premier construction recruitment agency, we are looking for a safety-conscious professional to join our regional team.

Comprehensive Role Specification
The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for site logistics and safety. Key responsibilities include:
* Vehicle Banksman Duties: Safely directing all site traffic including HGVs, plant machinery, and delivery vehicles.
* Access Control: Managing the main site entrance and ensuring only authorised personnel and vehicles gain entry.
* Safety Coordination: Implementing and maintaining site traffic management plans to minimise risks to workers and the public.
* Pedestrian Safety: Guiding pedestrians safely past site entrances and maintaining clear walkways.
* Communication: Utilising radio or hand signals to coordinate with plant operators and site management.
* Compliance: Ensuring all vehicle movements comply with Health and Safety Executive (HSE) standards and site-specific protocols.

Requirements
* Valid CPCS or NPORS Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Marshall ticket.
* Full PPE (Hard Hat, High-Visibility Vest/Jacket, Steel Toe Boots).
* Previous experience in a fast-paced construction environment.
* Strong reliability and a proactive attitude toward site safety.
