Trailer Technician / Fitter

Grimsby Lincolnshire

Salary £43,000 to £47,000 per year

40 hour week Monday to Friday .

28 days annual leave plus free parking

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out on-site servicing and provide breakdown cover as required

* Prepare trailers in the workshop for MOT inspections

* Attend roadside breakdowns, performing repairs and servicing at customer locations

* Ideally HGV Technician would suit this position

* Conduct trailer inspections and repairs at the quayside

* Follow company procedures, safe systems of work, and Health & Safety regulations

* Work efficiently and maintain high standards of workmanship

Requirements

* Proven experience in a similar role (Trailer Technician / Fitter or equivalent)

* Strong mechanical or engineering background

* Ability to work under pressure with excellent time management skills

* Reliable, responsible, and safety-focused

* Full driving licence (essential)

* C+E licence desirable (training can be provided)
