Were looking for a motivated and reliable administrator with an interest in science to join a well-established, independent analytical and surveying business based in Wickford.This company is committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth and development, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to train and progress in surveying & sample analysis.The RoleThe role offers an exciting progression route into BOHS P402 asbestos Surveying and BOHS P401 asbestos bulk sample analysis.Initial responsibilities will include day-to-day administrative tasks, including Excel-based data entry, whilst undertaking training from experienced colleagues in asbestos surveying and sample analysis.Training & DevelopmentThe company are committed to developing the right person and will support you in:BOHS P402 Asbestos SurveyingBOHS P401 Asbestos Bulk Sample Analysis(Please note: P401 work involves microscope use, so good eyesight is essential.)RequirementsProven experience in an administrative or office support role (although a science-related educational background would also work).An interest in science (analytical chemistry or materials science would be a bonus).Good eyesight (bulk sample analysis does involve using microscopes).Experience using databases.Strong organisational and time management skills.Good written and verbal communication abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.Salary & Working Hours£14.50ph / £28,000pa - increasing after completing probation & training.Full-time position with standard working hours of 8am - 4pm, although some flexibility may be considered.Please note candidates may be required to provide a cover letter detailing their interest in the role before progressing.Please apply today for more information.JBRP1_UKTJ
