About the Role We are an ISO 17025 laboratory providing UKAS accredited gauge, meter and equipment calibration throughout the whole of the UK. Operating for 32 years we have built a reputation for fast, reliable turnaround and excellent customer service. We have a vacancy for one trainee engineer in our accredited laboratories. The work will either have a mechanical bias. They are hands on roles and you will learn how to calibrate measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards. You will be calibrating equipment such as thread gauges, micrometers, DTIs and torque wrenches on the mechanical side
As your confidence and expertise increases you will become more independent and will be introduced to more complex work and develop a deeper understanding of metrology which in turn can lead to the possibility of more senior positions within the lab. QUALIFICATIONS We require a minimum of GCSE Maths Grade C(5) and BTEC Level 3 or 3 A Levels in a relevant subject.
