Trainee Estimator

CTR Select are currently recruiting for a Trainee Estimator to join our client based in Englefield Green. Office based Monday - Friday 7.30am -4pm.

We are seeking someone who is eager to learn, thrives in a team environment, and can meet tight deadlines.

The successful Trainee Estimator will be responsible for:

Utilising estimating software to build quotations Reviewing tender information to highlight any necessary tender clarifications Develop cost plans and budget estimates Liaising with the estimating manager and other senior personnel on current estimates and the handover of projects upon order of contract Carrying out labour and material take-off’s Ability to work on own initiative Ability to deal with high work volumes and prioritise accordingly Excellent time management and ability to multitask Working within a client lead role Reporting to the Estimating Manager

The Trainee Estimator will have:

Good IT skills, including Excel Good communication skills and confident on the phone Always upholds a professional attitude Flexibility and commitment
