We supply both fresh and prepared products to some of the UKs leading retailers. Based at our Fresh site, you will work closely with the Procurement Manager to help ensure a consistent and reliable supply of raw materials, maintaining sufficient stock levels to support production and meet customer demand at all times.Key Responsibilities:Manage purchase of raw material, ensuring the factory has sufficient stock & customer orders can be met.Undertake relevant professional studies in purchasing and supply to develop technical knowledge and support continuous professional development within the role.Develop and maintain regular contact with Branston grower group members to manage contracted tonnage against budget targets and whilst promoting the companys core values and expectations.Work closely with site quality, production and planning teams to ensure customer quality specification is maintained following procurement process and standards.Work alongside the Agronomy team, with regular opportunities to visit farms and observe crops throughout the growing and harvest process.Upon completion of training, support the trading of surplus crops and secondary-grade materials.What we are looking for:Excellent communication and organisational skillsFull valid UK driving licenseThe ability to work on own initiativeProficient in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelExperience within fresh produce or agricultural industry would be advantageous but not essential.Benefits of the role;Learning & development opportunities4.5 day working weekCompany sick payDiscretionary performance related bonus Enhanced pension contributions & pension salary sacrifice schemeCritical illness coverDiscounts to a number of popular retailersEmployee recognition schemesLife assurance policyEmployee assistance programme offering wide range of wellbeing supportClosing date 28th May 2026All 1st stage interviews will be conducted WC 4th May 2026 & 2nd stage WC 11th May 2026.JBRP1_UKTJ
