Monday to Friday role during training the hours will be 8.30am – 5.00pm these will change to 10am – 6.30pm once fully trained due to the hours own transport is required.

We are supporting a leading manufacturing factory based near Pinxton, Nottinghamshire with the recruitment of a temp to perm trainee production planner this is a pivotal role within the company and they require someone to come in at elementary level and learn about their business. They need someone with strong communication skills and a high level of English both written and verbal, a good level of mathematics is also required as you will be working with figures and spreadsheet. The client can offer ongoing training and development and has a healthy order book and over the past several years they have expanded their facility by over 25%.

Duties for the Trainee Production Planner

* Providing administration support to the production planner and the purchasing team

* Maintaining bills of materials

* Co-ordinating of daily production operations

* Internal liaison with various departments within the company

* Assisting with production schedules

* Excel and data imports
