Trainee Field Service Engineer

Location: Crawley (covering the Southern Region)

Our client is a global market leader in the manufacture and supply of automated conveyor systems for the logistics industry. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Trainee Field Service Engineer to join their engineering team based near Crawley, supporting customers across the Southern region.

The Role

This is a field-based position, working alongside experienced engineers while developing your skills through hands-on training and structured learning. A full UK driving licence is essential.

About You

* A genuine interest in electrical and/or mechanical engineering

* Ideally hold a qualification in one of these disciplines (desirable but not essential)

* Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn

* Comfortable working in a field-based environment

* Either hold an NVQ-level engineering qualification or be willing to undertake one (funded by the company, completed in your own time)

Salary & Progression

You will receive a competitive and progressive package, regularly reviewed as you develop your skills.

The average trainee engineer within the business progresses to Level 1 within three years, where the salary is £37,000 plus overtime.
