Trainer, Training, Instructor - Electrical Electronic Engineering – Royal Navy

Portsmouth, Hampshire

Permanent – SC Cleared – Term Time working

£39,000 to £41,000 pro rata + Large Co Benefits

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

Trainer, Training, Teacher, Instructor, Electrical Engineering

> Delivering training to groups of up to 24 trainees in Electrical or Electronic engineering and machine principles

> Conducting practical lab sessions, demonstrating key principles and supervising trainee experiments

> Marking and check-marking assessments to ensure accuracy and consistency

> Maintaining and updating training materials with Training Design staff

Essential Skills & Experience

Trainer, Training, Teacher, Instructor, Electrical Engineering

# At least a Foundation Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or a related engineering discipline), or an HND/FdSc in Electronic or Electric Engineering or proven teaching/practical experience in Electronic or Electrical Engineering

Desirable (not essential) Skills & Experience

Trainer, Training, Teacher, Instructor, Electrical Engineering

~ Classroom experience in teaching technical subjects in an adult education environment,

~ Level 4 teaching qualification

~ Experience of the Defence Systems Approach to Training (or equivalent).

This role is offered on a term time basis working 45 weeks per year, with non-working weeks taken 2 weeks at Christmas and Easter and 3 weeks in August. xbpsjku The salary will therefore be pro rata’d and calculated to include contractual annual leave entitlement and bank holidays.
