Description As a Training and Compliance Manager, you will be the main point of contact for the Network Plus Construction Management Organisations (CMO) local delivery partners (LDP), operational staff and the client for any training related matters and National Cadent contracts for the Compliance Hub.
The compliance hub team review site videos taken by the local delivery partners at the start/end of the day to prove site safety and compliance. The team then carry out a level of assurance to ensure overall site compliance. As the training manager, you will be responsible for managing this team and ensuring agreed SLAs are met within each Cadent network across the UK.
The role reports directly to the Head of HSEQ.
Key Responsibilities Training Act as the main point of contact for CMO and LDP Management, scheduling teams / 1-2-1 training compliance review meetings.
Liaise with the Training Officer to produce and implement an effective training schedule - to upskill and refresh operative training competencies, in line with contract expectations.
Conduct quality assurance to maintain accurate training records, track and provide trend analysis of LDP non-compliance.
Uphold and enforce contract minimum standard training requirements, specific to individual operative job role, prior to being inducted onto contract.
Establish good working relationships with CMO, the client, LDPs and external stakeholders.
Raise PO supply chain request forms to authorise payment for training providers.
Document all scheduled and completed training on the Commercial tracker to assist with LDP training cost recharges.
Manage the delivery of tasks produced by the training admin, proactively support with ad hoc requests to meet contractual objectives.
Compliance
Mentor, support and manage the performance of the Cadent Compliance Hub (CH) in line with contractual SLA’s.
Liaising and building relationships with the client and LDPs.
Using a platform called Vyn to monitor CH findings for non-compliant sites, being utilised as a point of escalation to close out outstanding escalations.
Ensure CH team knowledge and Vyn reviewing processes are up-to-date with new/changes to legislation and the Safety at Street Works and Road Works code of practice.
Reporting and providing Network Compliance updates, via teams / 1-2-1 monthly meetings across both Gas Customer Operations and Main Replacement workstreams to LDP, CMO and Cadent Management.
Conducting CH Team quality assurance checks to ensure individuals are performing at high and consistent standards.
Tracking Network trends of non-compliance findings, Vyn upload rates to support and drive improvements.
Support with customer enquiries/complaints, Highway and Local Authority FPN findings and alleged member of public incidents through Vyn submission evidence to assist mitigation
Experience and Qualifications
